Charging characteristics are one of the important characteristics of NiMH batteries. During the charging process of nickel-metal hydride batteries, the voltage will increase as the charging current increases and the charging temperature decreases. Therefore, at an ambient temperature of 0°C to 40°C, we should charge with a constant current of no more than 1C to obtain higher charging efficiency.Discharge characteristics: stable and long-lasting energy output
The discharge platform of nickel-metal hydride batteries is 1.2V. The greater the current and the lower the temperature, the discharge voltage and discharge efficiency will decrease. Generally, we set the discharge cut-off voltage to 0.9V because a stable current output can still be provided within this range.
